You have decided to marry the person of your dreams, welcome your child, mourn a loss, or honour another momentous happening in your life. Now you want to do it right, after all it might be a-once-in-a-lifetime thing.
You want your ceremony to sing with personality! You want friends and family to connect and feel welcomed into one of this most special moment in your life. But you also want it to be a profound and inward journey, something that inspires and encourages, awakens and heals, and helps you absorb what this experience means and holds for you.
How do we make it Happen?
A custom ceremony may sound a little daunting but it is not, I promise! It all starts when you give me a call and we arrange to meet for a free consultation. Once you have decided to go ahead, you will sign an easy-to-understand Agreement and provide your deposit to hold the date. I will give you a schedule to review, with all the steps clearly laid out, and generous lead times whenever possible.
First you will reflect on a series of questions on your own. I have had fun figuring out how to make these relaxed yet meaningful. Based on these reflections, I design a custom interview for you. Then we sit down together, ideally in the comfort of your own home and chat. When it comes time to create your ceremony, I live and breathe who you are. The words and thoughts you have shared with me play out in my mind. When I sit down in my office to write, it feels like you are there with me.
Because I am educated in rites of passage, I understand the deeper significance of these pivotal events, and bring this to life in your ceremony by suggesting rituals and readings. Whatever your faith or culture, I research traditions suited to you and integrate these into your custom ceremony with the greatest respect.

The day of your ceremony, I arrive early. I only do one ceremony per day so I can be completely focused on you and your guests. I am a born storyteller and am known for my warmth, ease, and how I engage people of all ages and backgrounds throughout the ceremony.
